Vagrant Soul

Vagrant Soul is an upcoming narrative puzzle adventure game. The project is being developed as part of Tranzfuser 2020 (a UK Games Fund initiative).

Players will be able to take control of a young monk, searching for a cure to the curse that is slowly corrupting his body. As he descends into an ancient temple, he will face off against a forgotten gods' wrath and uncover its sinister history.

Explore the Forgotten Temple, Solve Challenging Puzzles

Delve into the ruins and traverse the landscape, unearthing the secrets that lie within. Players will be able to manipulate the environment around them to solve devious and deceptive puzzles. Lift and electrify heavy charging blocks to activate doors, pivot light mirrors to control where light bounces and target light to power light beam receivers, rotate capstans to close large mechanical drawbridges and access the next areas.

What You Can Expect From This Prototype Demo

This prototype represents part of the first section of the game. Your aim is to activate the temple windmill and bring power to its machinery. To get there you will have to navigate its exterior and the device/threats contained within.

Please note that this is a prototype demo, and is not representative of the final game.

Prototype Demo will be available to play from 24 September 2020 as part of the ProtoPlay event. A Windows development version is available now.
